Fundación Sagarmatha
The Sagarmatha Foundation develops projects oriented to children and young people through activities related to mountain sports, such as rock climbing, high mountain climbing, mountain biking, mountain camping, geographic orientation, and handicrafts, among others.
All the activities developed in the Sagarmatha Mountain School are related to awareness and protection of the environment through knowledge, respect, and existential values.

Mérida, Venezuela
MAIN Objective:
- The project’s main objective is to provide opportunities to children from low income communities in Mérida, to learn life skills through the experience of mountaineering.
Beneficiaries:
- 20 kids from neighboring communities (towns of Apartaderos, Mucuchíes, La Asomada, Mérida city, and Tabay, among others).
- 4 teenagers with an interest in becoming mountain guides.
