In 2024, we celebrated the results of the alliances and relationships we have nurtured since 2019. A renewed Bastion now looks ahead to the future, strengthened by a dedicated and professional team that constantly asks: How can we serve as a bridge connecting donors and philanthropists —individuals, families, and foundations—with high- impact social projects in Latin America in a way that is efficient, simple, and above all, transformative? To answer this question, we have studied the ecosystem, listened closely to the needs on the ground, and reaffirmed our role as philanthropic advisors.

At Bastion, we act as a trusted bridge between donors and social organizations (NGOs) implementing high impact projects across the region. Our commitment goes beyond mobilizing resources: we aim to nurture a culture of philanthropy in Latin America.

We inspire people to become agents of change by guiding their contributions toward initiatives that break down barriers to education— through better access to health, nutrition, and dignified living conditions for vulnerable children. This year, together with our new team, we renewed our vision and mission. We also developed a Theory of Change to guide us toward the outcomes we aspire to achieve in the years ahead.

A core part of this mission is to cultivate new donors and philanthropists. We believe in sparking and nurturing the flame of philanthropy in our region, which is why supporting individuals at the very beginning of their philanthropic journey is central to who we are. To fulfill this mission, we rely on a portfolio of vetted organizations that carry our seal of trust.

What makes us different is that we do not only advise — we also act as philanthropists ourselves. Bastion continues to grow. Together with our donors, local allies, and partners, we aspire to help lead a new era of philanthropy in Latin America. To all of them, we extend our deepest gratitude for their trust, support, and collaboration in building collective impact. We look forward to continuing to grow this movement and to achieving, together, the change we all want for the region.
