Objectives:

To help develop good citizenship practices in 5th and 6th grade students through the participation in interactive sessions and local programs.

Beneficiaries:

In partnership with the organization Civitas, Transparencia Venezuela coordinated the project in 40 schools from the following Municipalities:

  • Petare: 26 schools
  • Baruta: 3 schools
  • El Hatillo: 5 schools
  • Libertador: 3 schools
  • Chacao: 3 schools

In total, 2,080 students benefited from this project.

80 teachers received instruction prior to the workshops.

According to the signed agreement, the organization sent quarterly reports and a final report at the end of the school year. You can find them all here.

However, due to the political and civil unrest in Venezuela during 2017, the program couldn't be implemented in some schools. For this reason, the project continued during the school year 2017-2018. No more funding was needed.
